Abortion Clinic Safety Bill Passes State Senate

Lt. Governor Bill Bolling just cast the tie breaking vote on the abortion clinic safety bill.  This Bill requires that abortion clinics should be regulated as hospitals instead of physician's offices. Abortion rights groups don't want tougher regulations. Two Democrats broke ranks, and voted with the Republicans. Senator Charles Colgan and Senator Phillip Puckett voted for the Bill.

Bolling's tie breaking vote was the right thing to do.  I also think it will help his campaign for Governor in 2013.

After the death of a woman at the hands of an unregulated clinic that now has closed due to being unable to comply with the new law.... a lawsuit by PP and others was mentioned. What's their leading claim? They have a right to botch procedures and kill women, and the blasted State is now prohibiting them from doing so?????? Should be entertaining, at the least to see them make fools of themselves.

Thanks to the GA for getting this one right.
