RPV Chairman Pat Mullins issued the following statement:
"Earlier this year, Terry McAuliffe said he would release a summary of his 2012 income tax returns. We still haven't seen it. Assuming that he filed for an extension, those forms are due today.
If Terry McAuliffe truly wants to be transparent and open, he should send one copy of those returns to the IRS and another copy to the Virginia press corps. If he doesn't, it's clear why: Terry McAuliffe has something to hide.
We already know that he was hiding his investment with Joseph Caramadre, and that information would never have come to light if not for a timely release of information from Federal prosecutors. If Terry McAuliffe truly stands behind his life's work as he said at a recent debate, then he should open the books for all to see."
