Some good news. As strange as it may sound House Republicans finally did a smart thing. This week they elected 7th district Congressman Eric Cantor to the Whip's position. Cantor is a smart, young, and telegenic conservative, who with time could be a national star for the GOP.
I believe Cantor is one of the brightest stars in the House Republican caucus. His leadership may be the first step towards a Republican recovery.
