My Predictions for Election Day

For what it is worth, here are my election predictions:

VA-11, Fimian beats Connolly 52-48
Gerry won the district two years ago, with 54 percent. It was an historically good year for Democrats, but this year many of those Democrat voters won't be turning out.

VA-9 Griffith beats Boucher 51-49
For Boucher his Cap and Trade vote will be his Achilles heal.

VA-5 Hurt beats Perriello 54-44 2 percent for Clark
What can I say Perriello is just too liberal for the 5th.

VA-2 Rigell beats Nye 50-49 1 percent for Golden
The 2nd is a true swing district, and this year the mood is in the GOP's favor.

Nationally, GOP gains 58 House seats, and 8 Senate seats. Yes, I know these may be held against me, but it is what I think will happen.

I have lived in the 11th District for over two decades. It is a true delight to see the ever arrogant Gerry Connolly finally on his way out.

The 11th District has, like the rest of the nation, awoken and said “what have we done” and are getting ready to undo this mistake before it gets any worse.

The choice is simple – more of the same nightmare with Gerry (and have no doubt he promises more of the same) or a re-awkening of the American dream and a new begining with Keith Fimian.

11th district it is just a nightmare. It is time to wake up – time to end it. You can do it, but only if you vote on November 2nd

John,
I hope I am right, and Connolly does lose.
