Fimian To Annouced Recount Decision on Tuesday

The 11th district vote canvass ended on Friday and Republican Challenger Keith Fimian is about 1,000 votes behind Democrat incumbent Gerry Connolly. According to Virginia election law since Connolly's margin of victory is less than one percentage point, Fimian is allowed to request a recount paid for by local jurisdictions. The Fimian campaign has told the press that a decision will be made tomorrow on whether to demand a recount. Stay tuned.
