In an interview with CNN's John King, Virginia Democrat Senator Jim Webb said that President Obama should not listen to the "dwindling" liberal base's opinion on extending the current tax rates. Webb praised the compromise reached by Republicans and the Obama administration on extending the current taxes rate, i.e. the Bush tax cuts.
