today issued the following statement in response to the passing of House of
Delegates Clerk Bruce F. Jamerson:
“I was saddened to hear of the death of Bruce Jamerson. Bruce was a friend who I enjoyed working with for the past several years. Bruce was a dedicated state employee who was recognized among his peers for being one of the most effective and innovative Clerks in the nation. Bruce will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. In particular, our thoughts and prayers are with Bruce’s family as they go through this very difficult and challenging time.
