Virginia Beach Educators Endorse Mayor Sessoms!

The following is a release from Will Sessoms for Mayor:

Virginia Beach Mayor Will Sessoms proudly announces the endorsement of the Virginia Beach Education Association's Political Action Committee for Education (VBEA-PACE) for another four years as the City's highest elected official.

Mayor Sessoms maintains his steadfast commitment to providing Virginia Beach students with a first-rate education in a public school system ranked No. 5 best large city school division, according to Great Schools, a national nonprofit that studies private and public school education. And last year, 10 of 11 of Virginia Beach's high schools ranked in the top six percent nationwide by The Washington Post.

Since Mayor Sessoms was elected in 2008, the City has spent a total of $2.6 billion dollars on public schools, which includes ambitious capital projects.

With an eye toward the future, Mayor Sessoms will continue to make public education a priority in the City. Many thanks to the VBEA-PACE for their support and vote of confidence for the job Mayor Sessoms has done and for what he will continue to do.
