I was sadden to learn this evening of the passing of Tucker Watkins. Virginia has lost a good son. Tucker was a GOP activist and former 5th District Chairman. He worked for George Allen and Virgil Goode. I was blessed to get to meet him a few years back.
Tucker was always generous with his time. I would see him online and would get his take on the latest happenings in Virginia politics. His knowledge and love for Virginia politics was deep. He knew the fifth congressional district like the back of his hand.
Tucker will be missed.
