According to the Richmond Times Dispatch Governor McDonnell is reversing Governor Kaine's directive, which instructed state government agencies and institutions not to buy individual-sized water bottles unless there's an emergency or health reason. Under McDonnell's reversal bottled water will now be allowed on Capitol Square.
Seems the environmentalists wanted the ban. But the reversal is good news for Virginia companies that bottle water. I for one side with the bottle makers.
