State Central Committee Chooses Primary Over Convention for 2012 Senate Race

Over the weekend, the Republican State Central Committee voted to go with a primary over a convention for the 2012 senate nomination.  I for one applaud this decision.  In the long run primaries are a better way to grow our Party and to reach out to Independents and moderates.  A primary increases participation and is certainly more representative of the general election voter.
