December's Dismal Jobs Report Brings Spotlight Back on Warner's Decisive Vote for ObamaCare

RPV Chairman Pat Mullins issued the following statement:

"Today's job report confirms what we already know: people are giving up on finding jobs, because there aren't any. Employers can't create full-time jobs because of the raft of expensive new mandates like Obamacare that the Mark Warner and the Obama administration have continued to put on our business community.

There's little doubt that if Mark Warner had kept his promise to Virginians and voted 'no' on Obamacare, rather than falling into liberal lock step with President Obama, our economy wouldn't be trudging through the worst recovery since the Great Depression.

It's time for Mark Warner to stop defending this fiasco, admit that his vote has caused serious problems for our country and our Commonwealth, and join the sensible voices calling for its repeal. "
