Sign The Budget!

Well, the Democrats in Richmond have delayed a budget long enough. The Republicans took over the State Senate last Monday, and by Thursday the House and Senate agreed on a budget. Republicans did in 4 days what Democrats failed to do in 4 months.

Despite the politics involved one more thing is needed to back our state from off the cliff. Before the state shuts down July 1, Virginia needs the Governor’s signature.

My concern is that as I write this, McAuliffe is trying to find some loophole to unilaterally expand obama care in Virginia, instead of doing the responsible thing, which is to sign the budget which finally passed.

Terry McAuliffe's signature will make sure our teachers get paid, our police and firefighters can do their jobs, and Virginia's AAA bond rating remains unblemished.
