If Bryce Reeves maintains his slim lead over Edd Houck, which as of now is 224 votes, then Republicans will have 20 seats in the state senate, which will make the senate evenly divided with Democrats holding the other 20 seats.
And more good news for Virginia Republicans, in the House of Delegates Republicans picked up six seats for a
two-thirds majority. There are also three races were
too close to call.
All and all a good day for Virginia.
