Texas is doing something smart. They are running radio ads targeting Maryland businesses to come to Texas. The ad points out that since he has taken office Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley has raised fees and taxes 40 times. They even have a rain tax! I don't even think the late Hugo Chavez would have the audacity to propose such a thing. No doubt an O'Malley idea.
Virginia should be pointing out these differences. If I were Governor I'd have a whole department dedicated to pulling businesses out of Maryland. It is an overtaxed, over regulated, over nannied state. It should be an easy sale!
