Chairman Mullins: False DPV Calls 'Despicable Attempt at Voter Suppression'

The following is a post by Virginia state party chairman Pat Mullins:

"Late Sunday, the Democratic Party of Virginia engaged in a blatant attempt at voters suppression, sending out a robocall to Republican voters, lying about Ken Cuccinelli's positions on key issues.

Fortunately, the effort was inept and managed to call a Republican member of the House of Delegates, Scott Lingamfelter.

The call essentially ascribed some of Terry McAuliffe's most unpopular policy positions to Ken Cuccinelli. Honestly, does anyone think the first Attorney General in the country to sue to stop ObamaCare is in FAVOR of ObamaCare?

The Democrats are actively trying to keep Republicans from turning out. Why? They've seen Terry McAuliffe steadily losing ground the polls. They know that after President Obama put his arm around Terry McAuliffe, Terry is lashed tightly to ObamaCare's sinking ship.

The Democrats have shown they'll do anything to win. This is just one more example. It's a despicable attempt at voter suppression. It's shameless, it's dishonest, and it's utterly unsurprising."
